Jennifer was born and raised in Northern California. She migrated to Arizona in 1996 to pursue her Nursing degree at Arizona State University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 2000. Jennifer spent 15 years as a cardiovascular critical care and emergency nurse in Phoenix, AZ. Jennifer was named Emergency Nurse of the year in 2011 by the AZ Emergency Nurses Association and Nurse of the Year: Contribution to Profession by Banner Estrella Medical Center. She obtained her master's degree in nursing education in 2011 from Grand Canyon University and continues to teach part-time with Grand Canyon University.

Jennifer received her post-master's degree in Family Nurse Practitioner in 2015 from Grand Canyon University. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, she has worked in Primary care/Family practice with a focus on health promotion, preventative care and management of chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, obesity and hyperlipidemia. Jennifer also works in the urgent care setting providing acute care for illnesses and injuries.

Jennifer received her post-master's degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Practitioner in 2025 from Purdue University Global.

Jennifer resides in Goodyear, AZ with her husband and 2 children and enjoys the outdoors, traveling, and spending time with her family.
